- N/A — block shapes on a grid
- Goal
- Place blocks, clear lines, survive the shape queue without filling the board
- Common formats
- Arcade block puzzle · score or continue modes if shown
- Best for
- Players who like spatial packing more than reflex snakes or dart timing
- Welcome offer
- ~₹69 after signup (confirm the live amount in the app)
How to play
- Open the puzzle / arcade strip and tap Block Puzzle (colourful square shapes on a grid cover).
- Start a low entry board so you can rotate attention across the whole grid, not one corner.
- Drag each offered shape onto empty cells; placement must fit exactly — no overlapping occupied cells.
- When a row or column fills completely, it clears and frees space (confirm whether both rows and columns clear in help).
- Look at the full shape tray before placing the first piece; saving a awkward L or long bar for a bad hole is a common end.
- Keep the centre from becoming a checker of single-cell gaps that no shape can fill.
- If the tray offers three shapes and none fit, the board ends under the room sheet.
- After a big clear, resist dumping the next shape into a random hole — rebuild a flat edge when you can.
- End after a set number of boards; “one more tray” after a near-full grid is how tilt packing starts.
Example
You enter Block Puzzle with ₹24. The tray shows a 3-long bar, a square, and a skew piece. You hold the bar for a nearly full bottom row, clear it, then place the square to flatten a corner. On a later board you drop the bar into the centre first, leave two one-cell holes, and none of the next shapes fit — that ₹24 board ends from packing order, not from “bad luck like a crash end.”
Rules & scoring
Shapes must sit on empty cells inside the board bounds.
Clears happen only on fully completed lines (rows and/or columns per help).
You usually cannot rotate free-form unless the UI shows a rotate control — check once.
Score bonuses for multi-line clears, if any, are sheet-specific.
Block Puzzle does not merge numbers; equal colours alone do not combine like 2048.
Harder trays or smaller boards, if offered as modes, change pressure — not a payout guarantee.
Leaving mid-tray follows disconnect rules; do not assume the same three shapes return.
Key terms
- Tray / queue
- The shapes currently offered to place.
- Clear
- Removing a completed row or column.
- Gap / hole
- Empty cells that may be too awkward for remaining shapes.
- Polyomino / block
- Connected square shapes you drag onto the grid.
- Board end
- No legal placement left for the offered shapes.
- Multi-clear
- Clearing more than one line in a single placement if the sheet rewards it.
Variants in the app
These table names appear in Win Rummy lobbies and can change with updates. Always read the room sheet before you sit.
- Classic clear boardStandard grid and tray — best while you learn packing order.
- Tight / score rushSmaller space or score targets if shown. Open after classic boards feel steady.
How it compares
Block Puzzle places shapes to clear lines. 2048 slides and merges equal numbers. Brick Breaker bounces a ball into a wall. Snake Rush steers a growing snake. Pick this icon when you want drag-and-drop packing, not merge maths or paddle aim.
Where to open it in the app
Puzzle / arcade strip → Block Puzzle with colourful geometric blocks. The 2048 tile shows number merges instead — open the shape-grid cover for this page.
Tips & common mistakes
Do
- Scan all tray pieces before the first drop.
- Prefer flat edges over scattered single-cell holes.
- Hold long bars for near-complete lines when you can.
Don’t
- Do not fill the centre with random small pieces first.
- Do not assume colour matching clears lines — completion does.
- Do not raise entry after every dead tray to “force a clear streak.”
Payments & withdrawals
UPI channels supported in the cashier for deposit and withdrawal. What you see can vary by amount and account status.
Welcome rupees
Block Puzzle new-player welcome often shows about ₹69. Spend it on unhurried boards while you learn which shapes refuse to fit a messy centre — the in-app amount wins if your banner differs.
Download & install
Get Latest (v2.4.1, ~48 MB) from Telegram, then open Block Puzzle in the lobby. Use Previous (v2.3.0) only if Latest will not install.
After you install and register, open Block Puzzle inside the Win Rummy app.
FAQ
Can I rotate every piece?
Only if this room shows a rotate button. Many builds place shapes in a fixed orientation — check help.
Is Block Puzzle the same as 2048?
No. Block Puzzle is shape packing and line clears. 2048 is sliding number merges.
Do rows and columns both clear?
Most block-puzzle rooms clear both when full — confirm once on your sheet.
Why did my board die with empty cells still showing?
Empty cells help only if a current tray shape fits them. Awkward gaps can still end the board.
Same as Brick Breaker?
No. Brick Breaker uses a paddle and ball. Block Puzzle has no ball — only drag placement.
Does a combo clear raise the next board’s stake?
No. You choose the next entry. Combos affect that board’s score line only.
