How to play
- Open board / casual multiplayer and tap Snakes and Ladders (serpents + ladders grid — not the Ludo cross board).
- Read exact-finish, extra-roll, and snake/ladder lists for this room once.
- Join a stake table and wait for all seats to fill.
- On your turn, roll the dice and move your single token the shown steps.
- Land on a ladder base to climb to the top; land on a snake head to slide to the tail.
- If exact finish is required, bounce or wait per the sheet when you overshoot the last square.
- First player to finish under the posted rule wins the table pot per the room sheet.
- Rematch is a new buy-in — snake positions may match the classic layout or a room remix; check the board art.
Example
₹25 buy-in, four seats. You sit on 28, roll a 5 to a ladder base, and climb to 55. A rival on 62 hits a snake to 19. Later you need exact 3 to finish; you roll 5, bounce per this room’s overshoot rule, and stay put. Next turn a 3 finishes and takes the pot share. That climb-and-slide story is snakes/ladders risk — not Ludo capture on a safe star.
Rules & scoring
One token per player in standard Snakes and Ladders — not Ludo’s four-token yard.
There is usually no capture: landing on a rival does not send them home unless this rare room sheet says so.
Ladders help; snakes hurt — tile numbers follow the board printed in this room.
Exact landing on the final square is common; overshoot rules are sheet-specific.
Extra rolls on six (if any) follow this room — do not paste Ludo Classic habits blindly.
Timer rooms may auto-roll a slow turn; watch the clock.

Variants in the app
These table names appear in Win Rummy lobbies and can change with updates. Always read the room sheet before you sit.
- Classic 100-squareFamiliar snake and ladder map — learn exact finish before raising stakes.
- Quick boardShorter path or fewer snakes; faster pots — still not Ludo Quick tokens.
- Remix layoutSnake/ladder numbers differ from the toy-board memory — read the in-room map.
How it compares
Snakes and Ladders is one-token climb with ladders and snakes. Ludo is a four-token race with yards, safe squares, and captures. Mini Golf is putting, not dice. Fortune Wheel and Dice multiplayer rooms are bet-and-settle tiles, not path races. Do not copy Ludo capture tactics onto this board.
Where to open it in the app
Board / casual multiplayer → Snakes and Ladders grid with serpents and ladders. Ludo shows the colourful cross with four yards — different tile and different page. If the art shows four tokens in bases, you opened Ludo by mistake.
Tips & common mistakes
Do
- Memorise dense snake zones near the finish on this room’s map.
- Confirm exact-finish before you celebrate a near-end roll.
- Keep buy-ins small until you know whether sixes grant extra rolls here.
Don’t
- Do not play this like Ludo — you are not capturing rivals or exiting a yard with four pieces.
- Do not assume every six is an extra turn without reading the sheet.
- Do not ignore a snake head two squares ahead because a ladder elsewhere “felt lucky.”
Payments & withdrawals
UPI channels supported in the cashier for deposit and withdrawal. What you see can vary by amount and account status.
Welcome rupees
Snakes and Ladders welcome copy often sits near ₹32 — enough for a low cash-battle seat while you learn this board’s snake dens and exact-finish rule. If you meant four-token Ludo, open that tile instead; this bonus note is for the snakes board only.
Download & install
Get Latest (v2.4.1, ~48 MB) from Telegram, then open Snakes and Ladders in the lobby. Use Previous (v2.3.0) only if Latest will not install.
After you install and register, open Snakes and Ladders inside the Win Rummy app.
FAQ
How is this different from Ludo?
Ludo uses up to four tokens, yards, safe squares, and captures. Snakes and Ladders uses one token on a numbered path with ladders and snakes — usually no capture.
Do I need a six to start?
Many snakes boards let you move from square 1 without a Ludo-style yard exit. Follow this room’s start rule, not Ludo Classic.
Can I capture another player?
Standard snakes rooms do not capture. Only use capture logic if this rare sheet explicitly says so.
What is exact finish?
You must land precisely on the last square. Overshoot may bounce you back or leave you in place — read the room help.
Are snake positions always the toy-board layout?
Not always. Remix rooms move snakes and ladders — check the in-room map every table.
Same welcome note as Ludo?
No. This page’s welcome amount and copy are for Snakes and Ladders seats only.
