Quick facts

- Goal
- Get all four tokens to the home stretch first
- Common formats
- Classic · Quick · Arrow · team rooms (lobby may change)
- Best for
- Casual sessions and quick online rooms
- Welcome offer
- ~₹33 after signup (confirm the live amount in the app)
How to play
- Join a Classic, Quick, or other Ludo room listed in the lobby.
- Roll the dice on your turn.
- Bring a token out of the yard when the room requires a six (or the room’s exit rule).
- Move tokens along the path; land on rivals to capture if the variant allows.
- Use safe squares when the board provides them.
- Enter the home column and finish all tokens to win.
Example
You roll a six, exit one token, then roll again and move five. A rival sits three steps ahead on an open square — next turn a three would capture and send them back, but only if this room allows captures on that square.
Rules & scoring
A six often grants an extra roll in Classic play — confirm for Quick/Arrow rooms.
Safe squares and capture rules depend on the room sheet.
Team or 2v2 rooms share a win condition across partners.
Timer rooms may auto-skip a slow turn — watch the clock.
Key terms
- Yard / base
- Starting area; tokens leave when exit rules are met.
- Safe square
- A tile where capture is blocked (room-dependent).
- Capture
- Landing on a rival token to send it back.
- Home
- Final stretch; all tokens must finish to win Classic.
Variants in the app
These table names appear in Win Rummy lobbies and can change with updates. Always read the room sheet before you sit.
- ClassicFull four-token race with familiar six-to-exit pacing.
- QuickFaster rooms — fewer tokens or shorter paths depending on the lobby label.
- ArrowBoard or movement twist labelled in the app; read the room help once.
- Team / 2v2Partner formats when listed — you win or lose with your teammate.
How it compares
Unlike Carrom, Ludo is dice-driven movement, not striker aim. Unlike Snakes & Ladders (sometimes nearby in lobbies), Ludo is about racing your own tokens home.
Tips & common mistakes
Do
- Spread tokens so one capture does not erase your whole lead.
- Read house rules before you assume Classic norms.
- In timer rooms, pre-plan the next move.
Don’t
- Do not leave a lone token on a hot open square.
- Do not ignore safe squares when you are ahead.
- Do not enter Quick rooms expecting full Classic pacing.
Payments & withdrawals
UPI channels supported in the cashier for deposit and withdrawal. What you see can vary by amount and account status.
Welcome rupees
New Ludo players commonly land around ₹33 after signup — handy for a Classic or Quick seat. If your banner differs, trust the in-app amount.
Download & install
Get Latest (v2.4.1, ~48 MB) from Telegram, then open Ludo in the lobby. Use Previous (v2.3.0) only if Latest will not install.
After you install and register, open Ludo inside the Win Rummy app.
FAQ
How many tokens in Classic?
Four tokens per player in classic Ludo.
What is Quick Ludo?
A faster lobby format. Exact token count and path length follow the room label in the app.
Do I need a six to leave home?
Many rooms require a six (or the posted entry roll) to move a token out. Read the room sheet once.
Classic vs Quick — what changes?
Quick shortens the path or rules for faster games. Token count and capture rules still follow that room’s help.
